Before Blog Sayings.

Maddy was coughing without covering her mouth. I told her that she needed to cover her mouth when she coughs because I don't want her cough. She then turns to me and says all worried like, "Welp, I don't want your cough, I just want my own cough back!"

Instead of calling my 9 month old son by his name, Kaden, she refers to him as "baby". So, if Kaden is "annoying" her she will look at him in the face and say, "Don't touch me BABY! You are so annoying me."

We were riding in the car on the way to my softball game. I told Maddy that we would see her dad there. Out of nowhere she tells me, "I'm going to be so sad when my dad dies because he's going to get stabbed."

At my step-mom's funeral, my grandma was trying to explain to Maddy that when people die they don't wake up. Maddy sat there for a bit, and then asked her where her mom was at. My grandma told her that her mom had died many years ago. Maddy's face dropped, and she leaned in to give my grandma a hug and then said, "Oh grandma, you can have my mom if you want her."

My mother in law's dog, Little One, is a beagle mix. She whines all the time. Maddy and I were outside playing with her when Maddy asks me if Little One is sad because she lost her mom and dad. I told her, maybe. She walked off with Little One following behind. I could hear her telling the dog that she doesn't need cry anymore because she will find her a new mom and dad at Wal-Mart.
